Came here for the first time to work with a friend. I loved that they had a bunch of plugs all over the lobby! My ancient laptop needs a plug every 3 hours so that's a real plus. The vibe is easy going and not too loud as far as coffee shops go. My drink is a vanilla latte with soy milk. It's super yummy! I will definitely come back here and work from home when I need a change of scenery.

I have been visiting this place for almost 20 years now on and off. Absolutely the best coffee you ever had and good scones. Create atmosphere good seating indoor an old and decent Wi-Fi to bring your work here. It’s just a quick walk from the beach and right inside Carlsbad Village

Jess was our barista! She is so sweet and lovely to talk to. All of the staff were very kind and helpful. The food was 10/10 best BLT ever!! Coffee was also wonderful. Thank you again Jess! And also the rest of the amazing crew that works there❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I visit here regularly. The staff is welcoming and establishment is clean and spacious. I always get the turkey avocado with sourdough toasted. It comes with a side of chips and pickles. The cheese danish pastry is a breakfast to go to. The signature latte iced or blended is also a win for me. if you are just looking for a good pastry the homemade cookies are the best in town. I love supporting this small business.

Cozy quaint coffee shop in the Carlsbad Village Square. Plenty of good seating arranged well inside and out. Good place for laptop studies inside and nice other tables in small areas. Atmosphere was relaxed and casual. Good fast service and great coffee specials. Plenty of tasty treats to sample in future visits. Recommend.

My review about Vinaka Cafe is nothing but good. The food is pretty great. I tried the BLT which comes with chips and pickles if you want them or don't want them. The menu had a wide variety of options as well. To add on the workers are filled with joy and happiness, they always crack me up and make the visit at this cafe always pleasant. And the atmosphere in this cafe is just outstanding there are some chess players there who are so kind and are friendly, someone even brought a CAT! The cat was so cute and behaved and never made any disruption and bad intentions. Overall if you’re in the area go to THIS cafe because you will most definitely enjoy it here.

Vinaka Cafe is a gem just a few blocks from the beach—perfect for a quick stop during a coastal stroll. I tried their Mexican coffee, and it was súper delicioso! My husband got a latte, which was smooth and flavorful. We also shared a blueberry muffin that was fresh, moist, and just the right amount of sweetness. The cozy atmosphere and friendly service made it a great experience overall. Whether you’re in need of a caffeine boost or a quick snack, Vinaka Cafe is an excellent choice. We’ll definitely be back!

Got my coffee at Vinaka—what a treat. I purchased a cup of very good coffee to enjoy there, and they even offered one free refill. Their food menu looks impressive, although I haven’t tried any of the dishes yet. My partner ordered the house salad yesterday and said it was really fresh and delicious—definitely worth the money. The ambiance is down-to-earth and cozy, making it a great place to relax. One downside is that the Wi-Fi isn’t strong enough if you need to work efficiently, but honestly, this is more of a place to enjoy coffee and unplug from the digital world. I highly recommend giving this place a try.

Not a place for sweet tooth person who is on diet! I have no idea why I just found out this gem despite living in the area for quite some time. The overall atmosphere is so warm and cozy. People are longing with their laptops and I wish I had one when I did walk in so I could just sit and relax. I did togo though. The lemon cake is a bomb! Not super sweet and the lemon cream is just perfect. I am not an expert in coffee but to me the iced caramel latte was great. If I live a bit closer I’d come here instead of Starbucks of course. The lady at the counter was all nice and smiley that I have to give 5 stars cause she smiled (many just say hi and look at you like they’re done for the day). I saw varieties of cake so next time will def get something new. Be careful walking in cause no way you’re walking out without having a piece of cake.
